Anchor Bolt

Anchor bolts provide a strong and durable solution to connect both structural and non-structural elements to concrete material. One end of the anchor bolts is embedded in the concrete, while the other end is kept exposed. The exposed end is usually threaded to attach structural elements or the equipment. Concrete foundation bolts are available in several different styles and size configurations to fit a variety of applications.

Straight Anchor Bolts: This includes a rod that is threaded on both ends with a nut, washer and occasionally having an anchor plate welded to the embedded end of the anchor bolt.
J-Bolts: J Bolts are J-shaped fasteners, threaded on the flat side. They are often used in structural applications like securing walls to concrete foundations. J bolts provide partial support to structures due to its open design. These bolts are put into fresh concrete so they cannot be pulled once the concrete has hardened.
L-Bolts: L Bolts are used when attaching a plate member to masonry foundations and providing an anchor for lightweight post bases. Commonly referred to as an L-shaped anchor bolt, they are also known as a 90-degree anchor bolt. These bolts are put into fresh concrete so they cannot be pulled once the concrete has hardened.

Chemical Anchor Bolts: They are full threaded studs with one end having 45° cutting and are supplied with a nut and washer. Chemical anchor bolts provide more flexibility as compared to mechanical anchor bolts. In this type a resin is injected into the hole before inserting the stud. The chemical resin fills all irregularities of the hole and makes it waterproof and airtight. The bond produced by chemical anchor bolts is stronger than the base materials.

Expansion Anchor Bolt: Expansion anchors are fasteners designed for use in masonry base material that provides holding power through expansion.
